This post contains an overview of how server speeds affect SEO, from a variety of authors, each providing their own insights, but first, a few brief points to consider.
The question being, does a slow server affect your search engine listing? I would say yes. If your page takes 3 minutes to load, then the search engines will lower your ranking. Or remove it because it’s showing an error, a non-responsive page, or a page that is very slow. Users won’t be happy with your page, and search engines won’t list a page that offers a poor user experience.
The above is an exaggerated example, but it shows the importance of speed.
With milliseconds in speed difference when comparing pages which would get the better listing?
