Considerations When Choosing a Game to Improve Processing Speed
As you’re considering games to improve processing speed, you must have questions, such as, do these games work? And which games offer the best results?
Let’s go over a few key considerations:
Consistency for Results
Some games may be better than others — personal preference weighs heavily on my perspective on this topic. If there is a game on the market that is guaranteed to work and has proven results, it’s not very useful if it’s not used. For any of these games to work, they need to be used regularly. Imagine using a game once and expecting an improvement in processing speed. That’s ridiculous.
If consistency improves processing speed, you need to find a game you will use consistently, and for that to happen, you should find a game that you’re interested in and find entertaining, which improves your chance of spending time using the game.
Brains Need Exercise
How effective will these games be? Well, your mind has many functions, and if you think of your brain as a muscle, it makes sense that the more you use it, the stronger it becomes.
Have you ever practiced simple math for an extended period? Did you notice you were able to go through calculations in your head quickly? When you stopped practicing for a while, you may have discovered even a simple calculation was harder and more time-consuming than usual. It’s because if you don’t exercise your brain for this function, you end up with reduced mental abilities.
Track Results
I know luminosity, and I imagine other games will give statistics, which is an excellent way to track progress, but you want to improve in areas other than the game. You can record your current ability in the area you want to improve, then recheck your strength after a month of using the game to see if there is an improvement.
